Kraftsamla in Swedish means “to harness our energies” or “to gather our forces” together. It is a collaborative programme between Swedish companies in India, under the umbrella of the Swedish Chamber of Commerce India.
Kraftsamla was created as a result of a dynamic conversation amongst our members on how our business community could strengthen one another, participate in, and create positive change.
Through Kraftsamla, we seek to address issues of gender injustice, and inequality, and build a world where both men and women can thrive. Gender balance, equality, and equity are our non-negotiables.
The Consulate General of Sweden in Mumbai is a co-founder, and catalyst of the first pilot project under Kraftsamla; skill training for women for industrial roles in Pune. Together with the Embassy of Sweden in India, they are patrons of the Kraftsamla programme.
